Acer 2021 gaming laptops use the latest innovations from AMD, Intel and Nvidia

Unlike some vendors who choose to pair Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 laptop GPUs with AMD’s new Ryzen 5000 or Tiger Lake H35 chips, Acer has decided to offer them all and let buyers fit them in it on.

AMD goodness starts with the Acer Nitro 5 series. The Nitro 5 comes with 15.6 “or 17.3” display options and offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 with refresh rates of 165 Hz. Acer claims that the Nitro 5 will offer AMD’s 8-core Ryzen 9 5900HX, a fully unlocked processor with a higher TDP. Up to the GeForce RTX 3080, Acer also offers the new high-end GeForce GPU from Nvidia for laptops.

You won’t find an 11th gen Intel chip inside, however, as Acer is sticking to existing 10th gen Intel H-class processors to power it.
