Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became parents to a little girl on January 11th. Since then, the couple’s fans have been waiting to catch their first glimpse of the newborn baby. But Virushka, as her fans affectionately address her, wants to protect the privacy of her child and has therefore asked photographers in Mumbai not to click on photos of her daughter.
In a statement, Virat and Anushka said, “Hello, thank you for all the love you have given us over the years. We look forward to celebrating this important occasion with you. As parents, we have a simple request for you. We want to protect our child’s privacy and need your help and support. “
The couple promised the paparazzi all of the “content” they contained but urged the photographers not to “include any content that our child has”.
“While we always make sure you get all of the content you need with us, we ask that you do not take or carry any content that our child has. We know you will understand where we are from and we thank you for that, ”added Virushka.
Even when Virat Kohli announced the news of his daughter’s arrival, he asked his fans to respect her privacy. He wrote on Twitter: “We are happy to announce that we have been blessed with a little girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we feel incredibly blessed to start this new chapter in our lives. We hope that at this point you can respect our privacy. “
