A new string of leaks has given a clue as to what the Apple AirPods 3 and case might look like at launch. The picture was shared on 52 audio over MacRumours and seems to confirm that the design of the AirPods 3 has changed compared to the AirPods Pro. According to an earlier report by BloombergThe new AirPods likely have smaller stems and silicone earbuds.
The latest photo shows that the 3rd generation AirPods have smaller stems. However, the silicone tips are not visible. Due to the shortened stems and slim design, the shape of the case has also been changed and there is an LED indicator on it.
As per 52 audioAirPods 3 will be equipped with pressure relief technology that is also used in the AirPods Pro. This helps to remove the inconvenience for users when they use AirPods for long hours. The technology helps to equalize the pressure in the user’s ears. 3D rendering of 52 audio Also suggest that both earbuds have touch control surfaces that were also seen on the previous two AirPod generations.

Spatial audio will reportedly be available on new AirPods, a feature that is also available on AirPods Pro. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is likely to be missed, however, as Apple could reserve this for its high-end products to ensure some differentiation between the regular AirPods and the Pro line.
In terms of battery life, the upcoming AirPods can deliver five hours of audio playback, which is the same as the previous generation. But the earlier report by Bloomberg suggested that Apple work on improving AirPods battery life.
There’s no word on the launch date of the next generation of AirPods, however 52 audio says it could be early March. Apple analyst Ming-Chi KuoMass production of AirPods will take place in the first half of 2021.
