Actor Ashutosh Rana said Wednesday he had tested positive for the coronavirus and was taking the necessary precautions for recovery. Rana’s diagnosis came just eight days after receiving the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. On his Facebook post, the Pagglait star wrote that his family, including actress wife Renuka Shahane, have also been tested and reports will arrive on Thursday.
“I found out today that I tested positive for the coronavirus. I immediately took action in this direction. I hope that with God’s grace I will recover very soon. I’ve had my whole family tested and the report will come tomorrow. But whoever came into contact with me after April 7th, please let yourself be tested ”, read Rana’s contribution.
Both Ashutosh Rana and Renuka Shahane received their first dose of vaccine on April 6th. Shahane had gone to Twitter to share a picture of herself and her husband from the vaccination center.

“Special thanks go to all doctors and nurses at the Kovid Vaccination Center. Today we took the first dose of the vaccine. Get vaccinated and wear a mask, keep social distance and keep your hands clean (sic), ”Shahane tweeted next to the photo.
On the labor front, Ashutosh Rana was last seen in Sanya Malhotra-owned Pagglait, which is currently streamed on Netflix. The dramedy, which revolves around a young widow trying to break away from her patriarchal surroundings, was praised by Rana for his performance as a grieving father, whose cruel circumstances do not allow him to mourn his son’s death.
