The singer of ‘Bad Guy’ had recently spoken of an identity crisis
Billie Eilish recently had a mad fit after being harshly judged for her signature neon green and black hair.
The 19-year-old Grammy winner never shied away from giving body shamers a piece of her sanity, and when she was told to change her nervous looks, she refused to listen and made sure she didn’t do it again would repeat. She told people not to make fun of her through her Instagram stories.
Controversy amid new album release
Eilish had a great 2020 breaking records after being named Spotify’s Most Heard Artist of the Year list. She’s apparently making a new album, but threatens to prevent it from being released because of the judgmental people. Continuing her Instagram stories, she said that if they keep making fun of her hair, she will make an album for us but won’t release it, and she ended up telling everyone to shut up.
The post went on where she said that she actually has plans to change her style soon, marking the end of an era. She also hinted that the new chapter will be revealed after the release of her Apple + documentary, “Billie Eilish: The World Is A Little Blurry” in February 2021.
Although she will eventually change her appearance, Eilish asked her followers to “leave her alone”. Her iconic hairstyle has been around since 2019 and during an interview with TMZ, she said it wasn’t something she wanted to achieve at the time. She said the person who dyes her hair accidentally burned some of it off and later she decided to wax it out.
This wasn’t the first time Eilish had defended her looks, either.
