L’Oreal finally unveiled a device for making lipstick colors at this year’s CES 2021 Tech Show. The company says the product allows you to “create an infinite number of shades at your fingertips”. It’s basically a sleek, AI-powered device that can create different colors of lipstick in any color you want, which is very interesting. This means that now you no longer have to buy different lipsticks as this will help you create the shade you want.
It even has a stylish makeup compact that sits on top. Perso is a smart home device that consumers can use to create their own personalized lipsticks. The device uses three different color lipstick cartridges and squirts the liquid out on top to create a custom color. All you have to do is load the Perso with three cartridges and then mix the colors with the supplied brush when the liquid is out. The device is available under the YSL beauty brand, owned by L’Oreal.
A wearer also has the option to create lipstick using the company’s YSL Rouge Sur Mesure app. tea Device is available for iOS and Android users. The app also shows you trending colors designed by L’Oreal and various lifestyle influencers. “You can also choose your hair color and eye color and [the app] We recommend color palettes that are most likely a good match for your functions based on scientific color data, ”said Guive Balooch, the global vice president of L’Oreal Tech Incubator, who developed Perso. The app has a “shadow wheel” with which you can select a lipstick color.
The Bluetooth-enabled device has a USB-C port for charging. YSL’s parent company L’Oreal claims the device will offer more than a week of battery life. The portable lipstick maker costs $ 299, which is about 21,870 rupees. Well, this price is only for the device and three cartridges. The company charges $ 100 (about 7,320 rupees) for an additional three cartridges. It’s worth noting that a single lipstick from YSL typically costs around $ 40, which is around 2,920 rupees in India. The edge reports that the product is already available for pre-order.
The cartridge packs are available in red, fuchsia, nude and orange. The source quoted reported that the device will be shipped “early spring”. The device will be available to additional users later in September. It is reported that the brand also plans to launch custom skin care and foundation pods later this year.
