Global star Chris Brown got really mad at an NBA fan after he made a bold comparison between the singer and Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons, one of the players who received the most unjustified criticism of the NBA. Still part of the Sixers after being embroiled in the James Harden trade rumors, Simmons now has to prove he can win with Philly.
Not everyone believes that they will actually win, especially since they haven’t improved in any aspect of their game. An NBA fan took to Twitter to make a bold comparison between the Australian player and Brown, one of the most enduring and famous rappers in the world.
“Chris Brown really is the R&B Ben Simmons,” wrote the fan. “No progress, no decline … Exactly the same old musician …”

Of course, this attitude raised many eyebrows in the NBA community, and when an Instagram page shared it, fans were quick to defend both the singer and the player for the unfair slander they receive every now and then.
Plus, Breezy didn’t like what he saw, and he quickly phoned anyone trying to bring him down.
To be fair, Chris Brown has long been at the forefront of his genre. He made hits before Ben Simmons even entered college and is one of the few who are still successful after all this time.

Simmons is still a great player. One of the aspects of his game, 3-point shooting, is getting better this season as Simmons tried more during the games. Of course he’s not Stephen Curry, but he’s showing a willingness to improve. The Sixers have a great start to the season and are considered favorites when they come from the east with the help of Simmons and Joel Embiid.
This man is great and can do many things on the court. This season will tell if these things are enough to get his team to the finals or if he needs to add more tools to his arsenal.
