It’s been ten years since we lost Corey Haimand fans celebrate the late actor’s memory on social media on his 49th birthday. Haim, who broke out as a young actor in the 1980s, is known for his frequent collaborations with Corey Feldman, where the two of them appeared together on various projects. Haim died of pneumonia in 2010, and over a decade later, fans around the world and those who knew Corey continue to pay tribute to his legacy.

Cari Haim, Corey’s sister, also wrote about her late brother. Cari adds a handful of personal photos and writes: “Today my brother #CoreyHaim would have turned 49. We think of him and miss him. The pictures show us and our mother (1975), we are going to a wedding (1974) and Corey and #RiverPhoenix at an awards ceremony in the 80s. “
Meanwhile Haim’s best friend, Corey Feldman, also paid tribute. As a child star in the ’80s, Haim is perhaps best known for starring in the vampire classic The lost boys, a horror film that also featured Feldman. He is also known for his roles in titles like silver bullet, Driving license, and Dream a little dream. Together with Feldman, he was half of the “two Coreys,” a nickname the couple had received from working together in seven films. Both Coreys also directed the A&E reality television series The two Coreyswhich ran two seasons and focused on the duo’s personal life.
