DigiBoxx, the Indian cloud storage platform, is offering 26GB of cloud storage to new users who sign up for the service. This is part of a Republic Day offer. Users who sign up for the # SwadesiStorage Promise this week will be able to take advantage of the company’s limited offer. The promise is to “support local products and services” all week.
“With more than 4 active users in Seen since the start, we are very excited about the kind of support we have received from the people. As DigiBoxx is a “Made in India” product, we decided to celebrate Republic Day exclusively by offering 26GB of free storage to new users who sign up with us by honoring the # SwadesiStorage promise . We also want to broaden our horizons and encourage users to save, save and share and access #VocalforLocal in India. This paves the way to ‘Digital India’ and encourages domestic digital innovation, ”said Arnab Mitra, CEO of Digiboxx in a press release.
After the offer expires, new users will continue to receive 20 GB of free space on the platform with a limit of 2 GB for individual files. Users can subscribe to the Rs 30 per month plan, which offers 5 TB of storage, with a single file upload limit of 10 GB. DigiBoxx also offers a business plan for Rs 999 per month that can include up to 500 users. The storage limit in the business plan is 500 TB, with the maximum file size set to 10 TB.
Cloud storage was introduced last year when Amitabh Kant, CEO of Niti Aayog, announced the service under “Atmanirbhar Bharat”. The platform also offers a file sharing function called “InstaShare”. Users can use this feature to share files up to 2GB by simply using their email ID or cell phone number. Even if the user deletes the files, they’ll stay on the platform for 60 days before they disappear.
DigiBoxx was originally launched on the Android platform and is now also available in the Apple App Store. The app also provides a Gmail integer that users can use to save pictures, videos, documents, etc.
