The Avengers Campus will officially open at Disneyland Resort on June 4, a company statement released on Thursday. Disney is a whole new land that offers an immersive superhero experience at Disney California Adventure Park. Disney also released a video showing our first look inside the Avengers campus.
The first key area within the Avengers campus is the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, also known as WEB. The new drive-through attraction WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, in which Tom Holland plays the role of MCU again, will be shown in this area. The idea is for riders to put their web slinging skills to the test and experience what it’s like to have power alongside Spider-Man. Disney will use innovative technology specifically tailored to the attraction to make the ride a truly unique experience.
Another anchor attraction advertised by Disney is the Guardians of the Galaxy mission: BREAKOUT !. The interactive adventure transports the fans directly into the world Guardian of the Galaxy Story with Rocket Raccoon and other fan favorites from movies and comics. The attraction features music inspired by the soundtracks from the movies, exhilarating free-fall drop sequences, and six different storylines.
Many other exhibits will be present recognizing the different characters in the MCU and especially those in the MCU avenger Movies. Doctor Strange will train recruits in the mystical arts at a nearby ancient sanctuary and use powerful spells to bring the area to life. The place glows brightly at night with majestic colors and lights in what Disney calls pulsing, mystical energy.
Even the food will be themed with an Avengers theme. The Avengers Campus offers restaurants that are “rich in taste and story”. This includes Pym Test Kitchen, a food innovation science laboratory that pays homage to Ant-Man and The Wasp, using “Pym Particles” to grow and shrink whatever they choose. They offer divisible appetizers and imaginative starters such as micro meatballs with noodles or the oversized “pym-ini” sandwich. Adults can also try experimental craft beer and cocktails at the Pym Tasting Lab.
You never know who you might meet on Avengers campus. If you keep an eye on the sky, you can see Spider-Man take action with incredible acrobatic maneuvers. Fans can also have heroic encounters with other beloved superheroes like Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, the Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor. Even various villains like Loki will be performing in the park for the first time.
The Avengers Campus is slated to open on June 4th to recruit Marvel superheroes of all ages. Meanwhile, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks plan to reopen to guests on April 30 with limited capacity and enhanced security policies.
