The Brooklyn Nets – Milwaukee Bucks Game 2 was a game-over-possession thriller. The game itself had the intense feel we’d expect from a playoff game, and there were definitely cases of players staring at each other.
One such case was an altercation between PJ Tucker and Draymond Green that resulted in the two being separated from teammates and security guards. Fortunately, it was verbal and the game continued as usual.
Former DPOY Draymond Green commented on the altercation, explaining that the league had become so soft that the two had to be separated by security forces. This incident could definitely be viewed as two opponents just trying to talk some junk to each other, which happens quite often in sports.
One of the socialmediagossips running in the square trying to de-escalate the situation was one of Kevin Durant’s bodyguards. It is understandable that athletes must sometimes seek protection themselves, and it seems like Durant’s bodyguard felt that his intervention was necessary.
While there is no doubt that the league has moved away from the physicality and mentality of the 1990s and early 2000s, many socialmediagossips seem to be enjoying this era of basketball. However, some socialmediagossips still view modernity with a certain disdain for being “soft,” and it looks like Draymond Green is one of them.
