Two years have passed since the romantic story of Mei and Yuzu was turned into an anime series.
Similar to various animes, Citrus was initially a manga series before being adapted for an on-screen experience.
The exceptionally acclaimed Yuri series began serializing in 2012 and finally became an anime in January 2018.
There is still a lot of material for a subsequent season, but two years have passed and nothing has happened. Does Citrus Season 2 actually make an appearance? We should discover.
Will Citrus have season 2?
Despite a huge following for the Yuri arrangement, the Anime Transformation received low ratings and two or three not-too-good basic audits on IMDB and MyanimeList.
This can keep the studio from thinking about a subsequent season.
Studio Passione is also great at producing only one season of anime titles. So it wouldn’t be surprising if they opted for a similar route for Citrus.
Fans shouldn’t lose faith just yet, however. The studio consistently has the ability to change its perspective if fans don’t get enough interest.
Various studios can also get citrus in case Studio Passione determines that they would prefer to stop making more seasons for transformation.
There is always a chance as long as the fans are interested.
What is the plot of Citrus Season 2?
Citrus contains a fascinating but somewhat dubious plot. This is followed by the report of two young women, Yuzu and Mei, who met in an all-young women’s school and fell hopelessly in love. They first met as outsiders and later discovered that they are stepsisters.
Yuzu and Mei’s romantic story is additionally laden with worship triangles and other sentimental interruptions.
To be honest, towards the end of season one, Mei finally set out to educate Yuzu about her real feelings. Yuzu couldn’t react seriously, and their relationship became abnormal.
