Gabrielle Unin praises another important woman out there in an effort to uplift women of color. Check out the latest message she shared on her social media account below.
Gaby said: “Today’s #WCW is a woman who breaks all odds, Karine Jean-Pierre. President Biden recently announced that @k_jeanpierre will be the new White House press secretary. This transition will make her the first Black and out-LGBTQ person to hold that position. She is currently the deputy press secretary for the White House. Her experience combined with sheer talent and integrity make her perfect for the job.”
She went on to publish the following:
“Prior to this momentous transition, Karine was also the second black woman in history to hold the daily press conference last May. It’s clear that nothing is too much trouble for this woman, and she keeps pushing ahead and breaking boundaries. Her extensive White House experience has brought her to where she is today. Let us raise them up in the light of goodness and keep them there.’
Someone said, “Glad to see a black woman win at this level! This is a win for all of us.”
A commenter posted: “Amen!!! I’m so happy for her!!! She is so balanced, professional and BEAUTIFUL!!’
One fan said: “YES @k_jeanpierre see you and celebrate you!!”

It’s really a pleasure to see this Tony AND Grammy award winner. @heatherheadley is a Broadway QUEEN! From “Dream Girls,” “The Color Purple,” to “Lion King,” where she really brought that extra sparkle and brought Nala’s character to life for everyone,” the post began.
