Gal Gadot posted an update on the third Wonder Woman film. She was asked in an interview with Variety when she will start filming Wonder Woman 3.
Gadot replied that she wasn’t quite sure yet. And that she would love to do a third film as Wonder Woman if she likes the story and Patty Jenkins, who she directed in both films, returns.
She said, “I don’t know. We’re not talking about it yet. We have no idea. You never know. I would love to do another one if the story is great and of course with Patty. But I do not know. We have to wait and see. “
While in January of this year Patty said that Wonder Woman 3 was planned and it will take place in the present day. But the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent disruption to the theater business have changed their minds and made them less safe.
While speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she said she had doubts if, given the current state of the world, she would still make it.
In the meantime, Wonder Woman ran in Indian theaters in 1984. The film brings back Gadots Diana Prince and also Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor. The film puts the superhero against Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah and Pedro Pascal’s Maxwell Lord.
Indian Express film critic Shalini Langer wrote in her review of the film: “Jenkins revisits the skillful touch she showed in the previous Wonder Woman, giving Diana’s action-packed battles a fast-paced and exciting pace. One of Diana’s several violent clashes with Barbara takes place right outside the US President’s office. Not one but two women set the tone in the White House as the most powerful man in the world is helpless – now that there is an idea. “
