After the Qaidi Band, Aadar Jain is done with the next track “Hello Charlie” and wants to impress the audience with his comic timing. The film appears to be a comedy of mistakes in which Aadar’s character Charlie is tasked with transporting a gorilla from Mumbai to Diu, and the result is a fun adventure.
In an interview with socialmediagossips.com, actor Aadar Jain and director Pankaj Saraswat spoke about the release of the film on an OTT platform and its unique story.
The trailer for the film gives the impression that this is a comedy that kids are likely to enjoy immensely. Aadar repeated this statement when he shared that “all of the reactions have been very, very positive, especially from children.”
Aadar added, “You see a lot of buddy comedies, but have you seen a boy and gorilla comedy that goes from Mumbai to Diu? The concept and the story itself are so unique, so fresh. It has never been seen in Hindi cinema before. It will make you laugh. It’s like a breath of fresh air. In a time of such worry and stress, it’s more of a stress buster movie. “
Hi Charlie, released on Amazon Prime Video amid yet another wave of coronavirus in the country, but the film wasn’t originally slated for an OTT release. “Our film was always intended for the big screen, but due to the pandemic, we chose Amazon, where the reach and visibility will be great for us. Unfortunately, nobody goes to the cinemas, which is terrible for the distributors, ”said Aadar.
