Josephine Langford is an Australian actress who was born on 18e August 1997. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Langford and Stephen Langford. Her father serves in the Royal Flying Doctor Service is from Australia.

Josephine Langford is new to the Hollywood industry and has only been part of two major film projects so far. She has great acting skills and it looks like they are going to get her pretty high. Before being part of a big movie, she played small roles in two to three movies. She had a small role in the movie Sex Ed (2013). In this film, she had the opportunity to collaborate with Haley Joel Osment and Lorenza Izzo. In the year 2014, she played the role of Renae Armstrong in the movie Gypsy Blood. She also appeared in the film Pulse (2017) where she had the chance to work with Scott Lee and Daniel Monks.

One of her major film projects is Wish Upon (2017) in which she played the character Darcie Chapman. In this film she collaborated with Joey King, Ki Hong Lee and Reagan Revord. She is known for her acting in the recent film After (2019) in which she collaborated with Hero Fiennes-Tiffin.

This film received mixed reviews and grossed over $48 million worldwide. In this film, she plays the character of a young committed student who has just entered college. There she meets the rebellious boy and her life takes a turn. Josephine Langford is a newcomer and has not yet been part of a record-breaking project. But her performance after that shows that she has quite the skill and still has a long way to go.

Before getting a part as Tessa in After, Langford auditioned for the part of Molly, but she had already been cast. Her role had changed and she was nervous at first to play a completely different character, but somehow she managed to do it anyway. Before starring in this movie, Langford never actually met Hero Fiennes-Tiffin. They met just 10 minutes before their meeting with the producers. They only had a week left before the first day of shooting and those days passed in rehearsals, so they didn’t really get a chance to get to know each other. But it was better than meeting on the first day of shooting. Things have worked out quite well.
