Marvel Studios has released a new series called Marvel Studios: Legends. The short episodes of the series (approx. 7 minutes) recapitulate the story of each character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each episode revolves around a single character and traces their journey in the MCU.
The series is designed to help viewers follow the story of their favorite characters before a related series premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar. For example, the first two episodes currently available are about Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision and will endorse those looking forward to WandaVision.
The series does exactly what it says on the tin – nothing more, nothing less. The episodes are a compilation of scenes from MCU movies that relate to the character in the spotlight, with added music to make the whole thing feel more coherent.
Revisit some of the MCU’s most iconic moments, one at a time.

The processing is sharp and precise. Not a single second is wasted on something that doesn’t add anything to the character.
This is a convenient and time-saving way to familiarize yourself with the history of the MCU characters without watching the movies again. The only catch is that you have to have seen MCU movies to understand the scenes.
Still, it might have been better if the episodes had been a little longer. Because the series feels like watching a trailer for the character. Maybe a montage of longer scenes with the figure would be more appealing.
Interviews with the cast, writers, and directors would also have been very welcome and would have gone a long way not to overlook this series for those who love MCU.
It’s hard to fault Marvel Studios: Legends, however, as it achieved its primary goal – deliver a crash course in your favorite MCU superheroes. Plus, the episodes are short. Even if you watch this series and end up not liking it, you have only wasted a few minutes of your life.
