IMDb has released its list of the most popular Indian movies and web series of the year. The list includes titles published between January 1, 2021 and June 3, 2021 and is based on IMDbPro data on IMDb user page views in India. While Vijays film master is in first place, the TVF web series Aspirants follows closely behind. Other web shows on the list are November Story and Maharani. Interestingly, none of the Bollywood films released this year made it into the top 10.

If the victim wasn’t a “good” person, does the killing have so much weight? Is the ending of a life, even if accidental, ever justified? ‘Drishyam 2’ is a solid, satisfying sequel. “
November 5th Story (Disney Plus Hotstar)

On the show, Tamannaah plays Anuradha, whose father Ganesan (GM Kumar), a celebrated crime writer suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, is found at a crime scene with no memory of what happened. In her review of The Great Indian Kitchen, The Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta wrote, “Last night I saw a movie that didn’t feel like a movie at all. It felt like real life. The socialmediagossips in the frame felt like socialmediagossips I knew and felt for, even though I had never seen the characters of Nimisha Sajayan and Suraj Vejaramood. The Great Indian Kitchen has moved right to the top of my best films that stay with you long after you’ve seen them. “
