According to a study of French users last summer, almost 80% seem to use Facebook Messenger regularly. In second place we find another application from the Facebook group that received quite a bit of criticism at the beginning of 2021, which is the essential WhatsApp which received 61%.
“Despite the emergence of multiple competing platforms and the growing dissatisfaction of some of its users, Facebook still largely dominates the western instant messaging market.Explains Statista.
The two applications signed by Facebook are largely at the top as the third most popular messaging application among the French is a specific Snapchat which is a little over 35%. This is followed by Skype (17%), Discord (8%), Google Hangouts (6%) as well as Viber and Telegram, which are each credited with 5%.
