After Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Miguel Herrán (Rio) and Jaime Lorente (Denver), now it is Itziar Ituño who has finished filming the fifth season of the popular Netflix show Money Heist.
Itziar, who plays Raquel Murillo aka Lisbon in Money Heist, expressed her sadness on Instagram when she shared a click from the set. She also posted stills of her character and made fans feel bittersweet. The translation of her Spanish caption reads: “Now yes! Goodbye Inspector Raquel Murillo, Lisbon thief !! What a journey!! Now yes! Goodbye, AGUR, CIAO, ADEU, ADIOS, bye, AU REVOIR Raquel Murillo, Aio Lisboa !!! What a journey!”
Itziar Ituño, who has been part of La Casa De Papel or Money Heist since its inception in 2017, had remarkable character art. She began as a policewoman on a mission to spoil the professor’s plan to rob the Spanish mint. But due to a turn of events, she joins the gang and is named Lisbon. She also falls in love with the professor (Álvaro Morte) and becomes his right-wing wife in the plan.
Money Heist season four ended on a cliffhanger when Lisbon entered the Bank of Spain to lead the robbery and become the eyes and brain of the professor at the bank.
Netflix had lit the fifth and final season of Money Heist green in July last year. The show hit the ground in August 2020, but production was delayed due to the spread of the coronavirus.
Money Heist 5, a 10-episode series, is currently in production. After several delays due to Covid-19, the show has given up its release date in the summer of 2021. It is now aiming for a premiere in the last quarter of the year. Netflix recently confirmed.
