Paula Newsome is an American actress. She is known for her performance in the crime television series ‘CSI: Vegas’ which aired in 2021.
The star grew up in Chicago and studied singles. She completed her graduation from Morgan Park Academy of Webster University’s Conservatory of Theater Arts.
Career
After moving to New York City, Newsome began performing in community theater as a child. While in New York, she was cast in a number of Broadway productions.
In 1992, the actress made her film debut as a supporting actress through a comedy film called ‘Straight Talk’. In the film, she appeared alongside Dolly Parton.
She has appeared in a number of notable TV shows, including Chicago Hope, Law & Order, Ally McBeal, Dharma & Greg, NYPD Blue, ER, Heroes, and Criminal Minds.
She is known for her appearance in movies such as; guess who (2005), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), rule over me (2007), Things we lost in the fire (2007), thinspiration (2014), Black or white (2014) and many more.
