PRESS RELEASE. PokerTON – a telegram-based platform for playing poker. PokerTON is one of the most successful projects of the Free TON Blockchain partner program for companies that implement a TON Crystal in their business processes as a payment method.
Since its release in May 2020, the PokerTON community has grown to 85,000 people worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In May 2021, PokerTON had 120,000 players on the platform.
The Free TON blockchain platform was successfully launched in May 2020. At the end of the year, the Free TON community comprised approximately 10,000 companies and individuals, including developers, validators, and representatives of the cryptocurrency industry. Today, the Free TON Network is a community-driven decentralized blockchain platform with a unique partnership model and one of the most advanced technology stacks on the market.
One of the most important elements of the TON free development models has become an extensive program for partners. In 2020, more than 20 companies around the world successfully integrated into the Free TON community and received tokens for their business plans. One of the most successful projects is the development and introduction of a full-fledged poker platform – PokerTON – based on Telegram (t.me/pokertonbot). Now you can play poker with the popular Messenger to avoid blocking.
The first tournament took place on May 14, 2020 and only gathered 28 people. Today the monthly growth is 30,000 users, and on average there are 100 to 500 players in the game every day. More than 1,500 players take part in the weekly Sunday freerolls. During this time more than 500 freerolls took place and the winners received more than 60,000 TON crystals. During that time, more than 10 million hands have been played. The most active part of the users, namely more than 4,500 people, have formed a friendly community in the Telegram PokerTon Chat. The community actively leaves feedback, solves general tasks of promoting and replicating ideas, communicating and helping newbies. Today the PokerTON community has 85,000 users worldwide.
In October 2020 PokerTON By integrating TON Crystal into all business processes, the use of other currencies has been completely eliminated. The goal for 2021 is to hold free tournaments in more than 1000 channels in Telegram, expand the community to up to 250,000 users worldwide and become a leader in the implementation of new technological blockchain solutions through Poker and Telegram.
