Superstar Rajinikanth took a private plane to Hyderabad on Thursday to attend the filming of his upcoming film Annaatthe. Last December, filming on the sets of the film in Hyderabad came to an abrupt halt following the coronavirus outbreak. While four crew members tested positive for the virus, Rajinikanth had tested negative. However, the stressful situation caused his blood pressure to fluctuate and required hospitalization.
Rajinikanth spent a few days under the surveillance of the doctors before canceling the rest of his shooting schedule and returning to Chennai to rest completely. His poor health even forced him to drop his plans in order to take his long-awaited leap into electoral politics. Shortly after returning home, he announced that he no longer had any desire to start his own political party, much to the distress of his fans.

On April 6th, when Tamil Nadu was voting, Rajinikanth cast his vote amid fanfare in Chennai.
Rajinikanth will join his co-stars Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khushboo, Prakash Raj and others on the set of Annaatthe. The film, written and directed by Siva, is funded by Sun Pictures. And if everything goes according to plan, the film will hit theaters during the Deepavali vacation.
