Regarding his dream project, RGV said in a statement: “This is my dream project and my research on D Company arose from my extensive interactions with gangsters over the past 20 years to meet police officers with underworld middlemen and also many film socialmediagossips who met busy with the underworld. I’ve always been fascinated by the uniqueness of the Indian underworld and its weird and strange mix, in which everyone, from criminals to politicians and police officers to movie stars, hopped into each other’s bed. “
