The global launch event for the Redmi Note 9T 5G takes place today. Before the start, the specifications and prices for the 5G device have already surfaced online. The midrange phone is expected to be a renamed version of Redmi Note 9 5G, which was launched in China in November 2020. Xiaomi will host the Redmi Note 9T launch event today at 1:00 p.m. GMT +1, i.e. 5:30 p.m. GMT India.

Redmi Note 9T: Expected Price
According to an Amazon listing (discovered by Droidholic) the price for the Redmi Note 9T will be 229.90 EUR, which corresponds to around 20,700 Rs. This price applies to the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB memory variant. Xiaomi could also offer the device with 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage configuration. This variant allegedly costs 269.90 EUR (about 24,300 Rs).
Redmi Note 9T: Expected Specifications
If rumors and leaks are to be believed, the upcoming Redmi phone will come with a 6.53-inch display. The panel will likely have support for Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. It could run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U processor which is supported with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB. It could also provide support for NFC. The Redmi Note 9T is expected to come with a 5,000 mAh battery.
Brands like Samsung and Realme are offering a 6,000 mAh battery with new devices. A triple camera setup was seen in the back of the photography. It is said to contain a 48MP primary sensor. The build is also expected to consist of an 8 megapixel secondary sensor with a wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel tertiary sensor with a macro lens. There could be a 13-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Xiaomi will likely launch the handset in two color variations, including Nightfall Black and Daybreak Purple.
