Superstar Salman Khan has appealed to his fans not to rush in front of his house on the occasion of his 55th birthday on the Sunday after the coronavirus pandemic.
Every year fans gather outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra to take a look at the actor who came out on his balcony to thank and wave to them.
The actor usually celebrates his birthday at his Panvel farmhouse with family and close friends in the industry. However, this year due to the pandemic, the actor has asked people not to gather in large numbers and informed them that he is not home.
“The love and affection from my fans over the years has been overwhelming on my birthdays, but this year it is my humble request not to rush outside my house for the norms of the covidian pandemic and social distancing,” Salman Khan said in the displayed message outside his building.
The actor urged fans to wear masks, rehabilitate and maintain social distance.
On the labor front, Salman Khan has started filming his upcoming film Antim-The Final Truth, in which he is reportedly playing a Sikh police officer. The film, with his brother-in-law, actor Aayush Sharma, is reportedly a remake of the 2018 Marathi crime thriller Mulshi Pattern.
While the original was directed by Marathi actor and filmmaker Pravin Tarde, the remake is directed by actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar.
Salman Khan is also currently hosting the final season of the reality show Bigg Boss.
He will next appear on the big screen in Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai, directed by Prabhudheva. Filming for the film was completed in October. Radhe with Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda was due to hit theaters on May 22nd but has been delayed due to the pandemic.
