Actress Samantha Akkineni is delighted to share the screen area with the famous Sufiyum Sujatayum Dev Mohan, who will play the role of Dushyant in the actor’s upcoming mythology film Shaakuntalam. Samantha welcomed Dev Mohan on board and announced: “Here we introduce our Prince Charming … Dushyant.” She added that she couldn’t wait to film with Mohan for the project.

Shaakuntalam plays Samantha in the title role. The film was written and directed by Gunasekhar. The music for the film is composed by Manisharma. Shooting of Shaakuntalam will begin on March 20th.
On the labor front, Samantha Kaathu Vaakula has Rendu Vadhal in the pipeline. The film, directed by Vignesh Shivan, marks her first collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayathara in the lead roles. Samantha is ready for her Hindi debut with the second season of The Family Man, which premieres at Amazon Prime Studio sometime this year. The actor, who will play the role of Raji on the series Raj and DK, shares the screen with Manoj Bajpaaye, Sharib Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
The Family Man Season 2 release date is yet to be announced.
