Japan cannot get enough of the Crusaders
Batman may be a permanent possession of the DC Universe, but he certainly takes time for transitions. Much like characters like Captain America and Scooby-Doo, Batman is also popular abroad. Batman’s last crossover appearance was in Fourteen days, and many of his iconic costumes also came as skins. In short, Batman is ready to be part of yet another crossover.
Information is limited at the moment, but more information will come in on September 16. Batman isn’t the only character to join in. Joker and Harley Quinn are also part of the collaboration. Characters that exist in the SINoALICE Universe will also receive DC themed makeovers.
About the game
For those who don’t know SINoALICE, the game was released in June 2017. It arrived on the Japanese iOS and Android on Square Enix. It soon became world famous with Pokelabo, and the director was Yoko Taro, known for Never.
The story takes place in a unique world called the Library, and the characters’ goal is to find their authors to add to their stories. Join the characters in their quest by defeating monsters and completing other challenges. The biggest challenge, however, will be killing other characters to gain more power.
And now Batman will be the newest character in search of its author. Japan already loves Batman like they did Batman: Gotham Knights and Batman ninja. The trailer shows that Batman is voiced by Yamadera Koichi and Joker is voiced by Takagi Wataru, just like Batman ninja. We can guarantee that the Caped Crusader and his two enemies will increase the game’s popularity.
What do you think of the new collaboration?
