It revolves around a young man who has a revenge against a business tycoon and plans to destroy his family. Baazigar is one of the early successes of Kajol’s career.

The reincarnation drama, directed by Rakesh Roshan, stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in supporting roles along with Rakhee, Mamta Kulkarni, Kajol, Amrish Puri, Ranjeet and Johnny Lever. Salman and Shah Rukh play brothers who are killed by their scheming uncle (Amrish) only to be reborn to take revenge on their family’s enemy. After 25 years of its release, the film is still known for its dialogue and chemistry between the main cast.

The romantic drama Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge recently completed 25 years of publication. It gave Indian cinema one of its most popular onscreen couples in Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Today the directorial debut of Yash Chopra’s son Aditya Chopra with Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Anupam Kher, Mandira Bedi, Himani Shivpuri, Parmeet Sethi and Satish Shah is considered a cult film.
Gupt: The hidden truth

Kajol plays the tension thriller in a negative role. She plays an obsessive mistress, directed by Rajiv Rai, and also stars Bobby Deol and Manisha Koirala. The film begins with Sahil’s (Deol) stepfather Jaisingh Sinha (Raj Babbar) announcing his marriage to Sheetal (Koirala) and infuriating Sahil’s sweetheart Isha (Kajol). The next evening, Jaisingh is murdered and Sahil is accused of killing him. Is Sahil the murderer or is someone else behind the crime, forms the narrative of the film.
Ishq

Ishq with Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla is a typical Bollywood film of the 90s. It features brilliant music by Anu Malik (Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai, Mr Lova Lova, Neend Churayi Meri), a fun first half and a melodramatic second half. The scene in which Aamir tries to walk on a pipe between two skyscrapers will always be the highlight of the film for me.
Pyaar Kiya after Darna Kya

Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, written and directed by Sohail Khan, plays key roles by his brothers Salman and Arbaaz as well as Kajol and Dharmendra. The film is best known for its song “O Jaane Jana,” Salman’s chiseled physique, and Kajol’s happy aura.

Karan Johar’s first director, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, is a favorite of the 90s kids. Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji play key roles in the film, which was phenomenal at the time of its release in 1998. The millennials fell in love with Shah Rukh, Kajol and Rani in the characters Rahul, Anjali and Tina. From his friendship goals to fashion to dialogues such as “pyaar dosti hai” and “kuch kuch hota hai Rahul, tum nahi samjhoge”, we remember a few things.
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

The family drama is a guilty treat for many Bollywood fans. It shows some memorable moments including Rahul’s (Shah Rukh) entry and Jaya Bachchan feeling his footsteps, and the sequence in which Kajol and SRK’s son Krrish give a speech, “Zindagi mein kuch banna ho …”, given to him was taught by Hrithik Roshan.
Fanaa

Directed by Kunal Kohli, the romantic thriller Kajol plays the role of a visually impaired girl Zooni, who falls in love with Aamir Khan’s tour guide Rehan Qadri. But it soon becomes known that he is a terrorist on the run. The film is a regular romantic Bollywood drama and has nothing extraordinary about it other than the music of Jatin-Lalit with Salim-Sulaiman.
