Actor-producer Vijay Babu said Naranipuzha Shanavas is still on ventilator support.
Malayalam director and screenwriter Naranipuzha Shanavas, who was admitted to the intensive care unit at KG Hospital last week after suffering cardiogenic shock on the sets of his upcoming film Gandhirajan, is in critical condition and is currently on a ventilator supported.
Sufiyum Sujatayum producer Vijay Babu took to Facebook to refute rumors of Naranipuzha Shanavas death. He wrote: “Shanavas is still supported on the ventilator. His heart is still beating. Invite everyone to pray for him. We still hope for a miracle. Will be updated accordingly. Please do not post false information. “
Naranipuzha Shanavas made his directorial debut with Karie in 2015. His second direction, Sufiyum Sujatayum, starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Jayasurya and Dev Mohan, was released on Amazon Prime Video in July of this year.
