Surprise! We get one Indiana Jones Video game. The surprise announcement was made by the Bethesda game studio, known for its work on the Fail Series who worked with the newly announced Lucasfilm Games for the project. At the moment the details are easy, but we have a short teaser trailer to get fans excited about the upcoming game.
Bethesda made the announcement on Twitter by posting a 30-second teaser. No title. No title card. The content was enough to give away for free. We see some books, an old typewriter, and other items that were sent to Dr. Jones from Harrison Ford. But when we get to the whip and the iconic theme of music cuts in, there’s no question about what we’re seeing. Fortunately, the studio posted a follow-up tweet to confirm the news. The statement is as follows.
“A new Indiana Jones game with an original story is in development by our MachineGames studio and is being produced by Todd Howard in association with Lucasfilm Games as executive producer. It will be some time before we have more to reveal, but we ‘ I am very excited to share today’s news! “
Todd Howard is the creative director of Bethesda Game Studios and will oversee the new video game as executive producer. Although the details are easy for now, we know this will be an original story.
