Tesla Inc took a step closer to its rollout in India later this year by registering a company in the country, a registration file filed Tuesday showed.
Tesla Motors India and Energy Private Limited were founded on January 1st. 8 based in the southern city of Bengaluru, hub for several global technology companies.
Filing shows that the Indian unit has three directors, including David Feinstein, who is currently an executive at Tesla according to his LinkedIn profile.
