Nowadays, the cheaper Redmi Note smartphones are just as important to Xiaomi as its high-end devices. Thanks to its good price-performance ratio, the Redmi Note sells very well. And every year Xiaomi brings new improvements to these devices.
For example, Xiaomi will launch the first Redmi Note smartphone with a 5G modem in France earlier this year: the Redmi Note 9T. At the same time, the manufacturer is already preparing the next generation, the Redmi Note 10 series.
And recently the XDA website published an article about one of the models in this series, the Redmi Note 10 Pro. He said he discovered a document from the FCC, the US telecommunications authority, that mentions a new model that could well be the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
Unfortunately, this “leak” does not reveal the characteristics of the Redmi Note 10 Pro other than the fact that it is a 4G device. Even so, XDA states that other sources have already shared some things from the datasheet that the Redmi Note 10 may have.
A smartphone with the Snapdragon 732 processor?
According to XDA, the Redmi Note 10 Pro should have a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a combination of four cameras on the back, including a 64-megapixel main camera.
Otherwise, on the processor side, the smartphone would use a Snapdragon 732G, a component developed by Qualcomm to power smartphones that are affordable but efficient and optimized for video games. The battery would have a capacity of 5050 mAh.
These elements suggest that the Redmi Note 10 Pro may have similar characteristics to the Poco X3 NFC, a mid-range smartphone launched in 2020 by another Xiaomi brand.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as we were pleasantly surprised at the value for money this model had during our review of the Poco X3 NFC (even if the design is not unanimous).
