The first trailer for To All the Boys: Always and Forever is here. The film is the third and final installment in the To All the Boys series, which I loved before the series, based on Jenny Hans books.
In the third film, directed by Michael Fimognari, Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) prepare to enter Stanford so they can be together. But Lara didn’t tell Peter that she was rejected. And she may not particularly like the idea of studying at Stanford.
After a few nice trips with her family and friends, she begins to think even more about her future. Will she be able to keep up with a long distance relationship? It seems that Peter can’t.
The trailer is quite long at almost three minutes and reveals too much of the story. If you’ve already made up your mind to watch the movie, stay away from it.
The series has portrayed teenage relationships from the perspective of a cute, shy young girl with a rare complexity. The third film seems to continue that tradition, and if you’ve seen and liked the first two films, there’s no reason not to not stream this film once it’s available. It carries over the same themes and character beats with a little evolution.
The official synopsis of To All the Boys Always and Forever reads: “As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the beginning of adulthood, two life-changing journeys lead her to recreate life with her family, friends rethink. and Peter will look after graduation. Directed by Michael Fimognari, the film stars Lana Condor, Noah Centineo, Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Ross Butler, Madeleine Arthur with Sarayu Blue and John Corbett. “
To all guys: Always and Forever will be streamed on Netflix starting February 12, 2021.
