“Thalapathy” Vijay-Star Master released a massive response in South India today. Vijay fans were already lining up in front of the cinemas at 5 a.m. to see their favorite star on the big screen.
The distributor-multiplex owner Raj Bansal reported how the early morning shows of Master were “packed”. He wrote on Twitter: “The early morning shows are packed with @actorvijay #Master all over India. It will bring smiles and money to Indian BoxOffice. #ThalapathyVijay. “
Several videos and photos from movie theaters showing Master in Tamil Nadu show fans of Vijay celebrating the film’s release by dancing and even performing “paal abhishekam” by the actor. The master’s cast and crew, including actor Malavika Mohanan, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and music director Anirudh Ravichander, also saw the first show of the film.

The film analyst Sathish Kumar M described Master as a boon for Vijay fans as there are “many, many fight scenes for #Thalapathy”. After watching the first half of the movie, he tweeted, “#Master We’ve seen a lot of # Thalapathy references in a lot of movies, but there are # Suriya & # Thhala references in this movie.” #Thalapathy rocks as a professor. The advance booking of the Lokesh Kanagaraj Directorate Master indicated a good start at the box office. Earlier this week, hundreds of young Vijay fans brave the pandemic and overcrowded theaters in Chennai to buy tickets for the master.
With such a positive response from the audience, the Master is expected to remove the darkness that has gripped the Indian box office.
