Virushka, as her fans affectionately address her, announced in August 2020 that they are adding another member to the family. In identical tweets they had written: “And then there were three of us! Arrival in January 2021 ”.”
Since the announcement, Anushka Sharma has shared her thoughts on this new life journey. She had shared a photo showing off her baby bump and wrote, “Nothing is more real and humble than experiencing the creation of life within you. If this is out of your control then what is it really? “
In an interview with Vogue, Anushka said that she only ate toast and crackers for her first trimester. “I only ate toast and crackers for the first three months. When it ended, I wanted to eat Vada Pao and Bhel Puri, but that didn’t take long either. So no real desire, ”she shared.
The actor also mentioned that she and her husband Virat “do not want to raise a child in public”. She said, “We don’t plan to include our child on social media. I think it is a decision your child should make. No child should be special than the other. It’s hard enough for adults to deal with. It will be difficult, but we want to keep going. “
Virat Kohli, who was on tour with the national team in Australia, returned to India after the first test as the BCCI granted him paternity leave on request. Since then he has stood at the side of his wife Anushka Sharma.
Anushka and Virat tied the knot in Italy on December 11, 2017. Only family members and close friends attended the wedding. The couple hosted two wedding receptions in India, one in Delhi and one in Mumbai.
On the labor front, Anushka Sharma recently produced the original web series Pataal Lok and the Netflix film Bulbbul from Amazon Prime Video under her production house Clean Slate Films. She was last seen on screen with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Aanand L Rais’ film Zero from 2018.
