Since the first trailer for WandaVision was released, there were many questions that were followed by fans about important theoretical sprees. While some of the questions have been more or less solved – how Kathryn Hahn actually plays the wonder witch, Agatha Harkness, the mysterious beekeeper for SWORD, etc. – some puzzles still need a correct answer. And the biggest of them all was the wine bottle that appears in the trailer – a solid nod to Marvel’s reality-changing comic book story M.? Well, Elizabeth Olsen has finally voiced her thoughts on the wild theories revolving around this particular possibility.
There are now several trailers, teasers and now a fresh clip of WandaVision established the basic story of the series- Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and Vision will be a married couple in a suburban society. You will live in an alternate reality – a classic television sitcom-style life created by Wanda to deal with the fact that after the events of Vision, Vision is dead Avengers: Infinity War.
The first trailer for WandaVision was released and it packed a treasure trove of Easter eggs and references. One such scene was when Wanda hovered a wine bottle over the table to fill a glass. In the short scene we notice that there is a very distinctive “M” on the neck of the bottle, which also has a label with the French title “Maison du Mepris” or “House of Contempt”.
When it comes to Marvel, there are seldom details that are not essential, and so this is an obvious wink to Brian Michael Bendis’ 2005 comic book “House of M”, in which Wanda suffered a nervous breakdown and distorted the fabric of the Reality itself to recreate their lost twins who, for your information, are also there in the trailer. Too many coincidences don’t you think?
Well, Jimmy Kimmel also thinks like when WandaVision Star Elizabeth appeared on his virtual live show, the TV presenter was quick to inform her about the eye-catching Easter egg.
“That wine bottle. It says Maison du Mépris. It means” house of misery “.” He said, making Olsen laugh off-screen. “That could mean that the series is based on the popular comic House of M, in which Wanda breaks down.”
In contrast to Tom Holland, who is notorious for revealing spoilers on his films, Olsen Kimmel’s exploratory questions neatly avoided and instead attributed the addition of the wine bottle to “our prop guy Russell” and added that he was “a very, would be a very smart man if he put that into it. ”
Let’s call it wishful thinking, but Olsen’s knowing smile only serves to cement the possibility of that WandaVision will see Wanda do more harm than just change the decade she is in M. In the comic series, Wanda induced a reality in which mutants rule socialmediagossips and these in turn are ruled by Magneto and his “House of M”. This distorted reality enables Wanda to reunite with her sons. But the chaos ends with Magneto brutally killing Mercury, causing Wanda to pronounce the famous “No More Mutants” line and create a brand new reality in which the number of mutants around the world goes from millions to barely a few hundred sinks.
If WandaVision follow that M. In the story, we can expect Marvel Studios to work out their own, unique version of the events that fits the MCU. Anyone planning to watch the Disney + series while expecting it to be a cheesy sitcom should probably prepare for a crazy ride. You’re viewing the chat between Kimmel and Olsen correctly Here.
