Hugh Jackman won the last fight in his longstanding feud with Ryan Reynolds. After years of arguing, the two last month launched a charity advertising campaign sponsored by Sam’s Club. The buyers voted on the winner. With Jackman representing the Laughing Man Foundation and Reynolds representing the Sick Kids Foundation, a new video Reynolds posted on Twitter shows that he lost the contest to Jackman.

In the video Hugh Jackman is informed through a video call that he hit Reynolds. Jackman, visibly excited, replied, “This is amazing news, thank you. Honestly, it was an honor. Everyone at the Laughing Man Foundation will be so happy.”
Jackman insists he’s the one to let it happen Ryan Reynolds know the results, adopt to give that Dead Pool Actor a video call to rub it in in person. “Hey, Hugh,” Reynolds says when he answers the call. “You lost the Sam’s Club thing. I won. Everyone hates you. Bye,” Jackman replies immediately before hanging up.
Jackman’s Laughing Man Foundation charity, which is owned by his Laughing Man Coffee company, supports educational programs, community development, and social entrepreneurs around the world. For the Sam’s Club competition, Jackman sold his coffee brand at Sam’s Club to represent the foundation. Meanwhile, Reynolds Aviation Gin sold as a representative of the Sick Kids Foundation, a group committed to the health and wellbeing of children in the United States and abroad.
The vote was only to brag about the winner as both charities benefited equally from the campaign. When the competition was first announced by Sam’s Club, it was determined that the company would donate equal amounts to both the Laughing Man Foundation and the Sick Kids Foundation regardless of who won the competition. This is great news as everyone is ahead of the game except for Reynolds, who had to be harshly told that he lost to Jackman.
Jackman’s win comes after Reynolds shot his opponent again earlier this month on Twitter. A photo posted by a fan shows an Aviation gin bottle lying on top of Jackman’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the brand’s name written on tape over Jackman’s name. Reynolds retweeted the picture and said, “Permission to frame this? Or turn it into a billboard?”

Apparently amused, Jackman shot back with the blunt reply to the tweet: “REFUSED.”
