Xiaomi will launch its newest budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 10S, on May 13th in India. The company has confirmed the launch event for May 13th via a post on Redmi India’s Twitter account. The smartphone is launched via a virtual event on the company’s social media channels.
Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 10 series earlier this year, and now the Redmi Note 10S is being added to the range. Redmi Note 10S was launched worldwide in March. The device has a 6.43-inch FHD + AMOLED display, a hole-and-hole design and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. Here you will find everything you should know about the device.

Redmi Note 10S: Technical data and functions (expected)
The global variant of the Redmi Note 10S has an AMOLED display with 6.43 inches FHD + (1,080 × 2,400 pixels) and offers a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with up to 8 GB RAM and up to 128 GB internal memory. The device weighs 178.8 grams and measures 160.46 × 74.5 × 8.19 mm.
The Redmi Note 10s has a quad camera configuration on the back, consisting of a 64-megapixel main camera with an aperture of 1: 1.79, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an aperture of 1: 2, 2 and a 2 megapixel macro shooter with an aperture of f / 2.1 / 2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f / 2.4. The device has a 13-megapixel front camera for all selfie needs and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The Redmi Note 10S is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging support and runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5. Connectivity options include NFC, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth v5, among others.
Redmi Note 10S: expected price
We will have to wait for the smartphone’s official launch to receive confirmation of the device’s price in India. The Redmi Note 10s could launch at a starting price of Rs 12,000 if the company follows the recently implemented pricing strategy. The phone will most likely come in three colorways – blue, dark gray, and white, as suggested in a recent teaser.
